About AlaskaVA

Our Founding

AlaskaVA was founded on March 31, 2021, with one simple goal in mind: creating a VA people love.

We strive to lead the way in the VA community by fostering a rich environment geared toward real-world aviation professionals and enthusiasts alike. Whether you are just getting into flight simulation or have enjoyed the hobby for more than a decade, AlaskaVA welcomes enthusiasts of all experience levels.

Our pilots come first. We encourage feedback, ideas and participation from our members as we continue improving the organization and its operations.

Old Friends Together Again

AlaskaVA merged with flyalaskava.org in October 2021 and made it a priority to preserve as much of the former VA as possible because its history should not be forgotten.

AlaskaVA continues to honor that history and strives to give former flyalaskava.org pilots a familiar home within our community. Pilots from the former organization were welcomed with their previous hours and flights.
